The Jewish Revolution in San Francisco:
Harav Noah Weinberg zt"l and the Lisa Kampner Hebrew Academy

One of the most influential rabbis of his generation, Harav Noah Weinberg zt"l, with 750 rabbis working under him, reached over one million Jews worldwide. As the founder of yeshiva Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem, he understood quite well the vital mission the Lisa Kampner Hebrew Academy performs through its efforts to increasingly strengthen the Jewish community in the San Francisco Bay Area. Rabbi Weinberg, who, through direct association with alumni of the Hebrew Academy that went on to study at Aish HaTorah, bore witness to examples of the extraordinary products forged by the school and, thus, hailed the academy as a bastion of Judaism in Northern California.

Yevgeniy Labunskiy, an alumni of the Lisa Kampner Hebrew Academy and currently studying at Aish HaTorah, pictured on the cover of the J Weekly, the only Jewish paper in the Bay Area; this is the only time in the history of San Francisco that a Jewish boy has been shown wearing phylacteries, which demonstrates the magnitude of the ongoing Russian Jewish revolution
