Shimon Peres has dedicated his life to the service of
Israel. He has held multiple positions in the Knesset,
and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994. As Prime
Minister, Mr. Peres met with Rabbi Lipner to discuss the
importance of building Judaism and promoting a love of
Israel among Jews in the San Francisco Bay Area.
